Floral Bliss...

Hi folks...finally I found some time to play with the gorgeous June Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp...the kit has now sold out but I have linked the items I used from the kit below which are still available to buy individually...
and I'm smitten with the Floral Bliss Stamp Set...the large floral image is gorgeous and so versatile...I stamped it vertically onto Distress Watercolour Card and applied a watercolour wash of Worn Lipstick (which came in the kit) and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks adding a little bit of splatter with Black Soot Distress Ink and used the Dylusions Black Paint Pen for the centres of the flowers and the buds. I then stamped the sentiment on to Simon Says Stamp Black Card and heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail White Embossing Powder...trimmed to fit on to a black card blank and added a strip of paper from the Echo Park Wedding Bliss Collection.

I die cut a panel from Distress Watercolour Card using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles...
stamped the large image...small flowers and sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and watercoloured the flowers with Worn Lipstick and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks and the leaves with Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige using Ranger's Detailer Brush. I added a little bit of Vintage Photo splattering and matted the panel on to a Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy card blank.
I will be sharing more June Card Kit makes later next week but in the meantime...for more floral bliss I need look no further than my own garden...it seems the plants have been enjoying the warm sunshine and the odd shower of rain

and if the weather holds up for the weekend...I'm planning to spend it out in the garden...just pottering and enjoying the fresh air. Have fun whatever you have planned and I'll see you all on Monday with my DT project for Simon Says Monday Challenge.
Toodle-oo for now
